From the Pastor…
The formation of a new congregation! It is an exciting and adventurous challenge. It is also a matter, by God’s grace, of bearing faithful witness.
This web site is meant to introduce ourselves and for some in the market, to promote ourselves.
You may already have a congregational home and are sharing in the mission Christ Jesus entrusted to his Church. We are thankful for your service, and want you to know that we are your neighbor. We look forward to cooperative ventures in the Gospel together.
For some, you may not have such a home, or you may sense a need for reform and renewal that is not being adequately addressed. If that is the case, we would love to be in conversation with you and to have you worship with us.
Those of us who have formed Gift of Grace Lutheran Church were concerned with our past affiliation that the plain sense and time honored teaching of Scripture was being ignored or compromised. Our concern was especially, but not limited to, the revising of the time honored Christian teaching on sexual chastity and the Christian definition and understanding of marriage.
After many years of trying to bear faithful witness and with the constant controversy over revisions being made to time honored teaching, we sensed God’s leading to start afresh and begin a new congregation with a new affiliation of Lutherans. With like-minded convictions we sense more energy and focus can be devoted to being Christ-Centered, Mission-Minded, Traditionally-Grounded, and Congregationally-Focused.
We look forward to being a faithful neighbor with area congregations. We also wish to extend an invitation to any who might be looking for a congregation home and who might be drawn by similar convictions. We would love to have you worship with us.
